Review of TIGI Bed Head Stick - A Hair Stick for Cool People

By

I pretty much use a hair product everyday. For some reason, I don't like the way my hair feels without some sort of gel or wax in it. My preference is TIGI's Bed Head Stick (A Hair Stick for Cool People). I use this hair wax regularly. It is flexible enough to use for both a "going out" look as well as a "going to work" look. There are several main qualities I like about TIGI's Bed Head Stick. These qualities are ease of application, weatherproofness, versatility, and smell. TIGI's Bed Head Stick is rather expensive, but there is a bonus feature to this hair product! I share this bonus secret feature with you towards the end of this article.

Ease of Application

One of the cool things about the Bed Head Stick is the ease of application.  Unlike messy gels and pastes that require you to use your fingers for application, the Bed Head Stick is applied like deodorant.  You simply rub the end of the stick on your hair, then use your fingers to style the hair.  This makes for a very quick and simple application.  I can literally style my hair in one minute with the Bed Head Stick!

Weatherproof

The Bed Head Stick is weatherproof because it is wax-based. Gels, mousses, pastes, and other products break down in various weather conditions (rain, wind, humidity, etc.). The Bed Head Stick keeps your hair in style no matter what the conditions outside. Think of what it's like when you wax your car and you get those cool beads of water that simply roll off the wax. The Bed Head Stick performs the same function for your hair. Your hair retains its style while the water simply rolls off the hair!

Versatility

I'm a pretty multifaceted guy that demands a lot out of my hair. I work in a fairly conservative career field, so it is important I "tone down" my hair for work and meetings with clients. I also do a lot of extreme sports, such as Ironman triathlons. The Bed Head Stick has stood up through entire Ironman races - my hair has remained stylable through the swim, bike, and run. I simply need to do a little fixing up prior to finishing the race! It's important to look cool for the finishing photo! When I go out on the town, I like to sport more of a "rock star" hairdo. This simply means I spike my hair or, on rare occassion, sport a faux hawk. The Bed Head Stick allows many styles from "slicked back" to "spiked up."

Smell

The Bed Head Stick has an awesome "clean" and "cool" smell. I really like the way it smells. I've had a number of women tell me my hair smells great too. So, in addition to having a cool hairstyle, you can have cool smelling hair with the Bed Head Stick.

Bed Head Stick Bonus Secret

This tip is really for those of you that are penny pinchers. A nifty trick I accidentally found with the Bed Head Hair Stick is the ability to get multiple days use out of a single application. This is actually quite easy and simply involves not washing your hair or washing it very lightly. Because the hair stick is wax-based, it takes a decent amount of effort to wash the product out of your hair. This side-effect creates the bonus: wash lightly or not at all and you can go several days with a cool hairstyle with only a single application of the Bed Head Hair Stick!
